NEYMAR da Silva Santos Júnior, the Brazilian soccer star commonly known as, Neymar, is having a fantastic time holidaying in Zimbabwe’s world renowned, Victoria Falls.
A sources in the popular holiday resort told Team Buntu Africa that the Brazilian who plays as a forward for Spanish club FC Barcelona, has been visiting the falls and surrounding game parks accompanied by his partner, son, mother, sister and six unnamed friends.
“Neymar and his entourage have been having a fantastic time in Victoria Falls,” said the source who works for a local hotel. “They have really taken to the place and are fascinated by the thunderous falls and animals such as lions, elephants and wild boars. Neymar and his son have taken quiet a few photos with local people who are ecstatic that the Brazilian star is in Victoria Falls.”
Neymar and his entourage apparently landed in Victoria Falls a couple of days ago after spending time in Las Vega in the USA.
He is the only Brazilian soccer star to have graced the cover of TIME magazine when he was labelled the “New Pele” in 2011, when he helped his former Brazilian club, Santos win its first Continental Double since 1963.
Since joining Barcelona in 2013 for £48,600,000 Neymar has been nothing short of sensational. He scored 37 goals for his team during the 2015/2016 season out of 59 appearances. In 2016/2017 he scored 20 goals in 45 appearances for Barcelona.
